Sean Patrick Maloney is an American politician and the U.S. Representative for New York's 18th congressional district. He entered politics as a volunteer for Bill Clinton's presidential campaigns, and later served as his senior West Wing adviser and White House Staff Secretary. After the Clinton Administration he served as the First Deputy Secretary to New York Governors David Paterson and Eliot Spitzer.
